Aashirya Clark of Mobile, Alabama is a junior at Government Street Christian School, where she is involved in dance. She also participates in competitive cheer and is active in her church.

Let’s get to know Aashirya!

Q: Why do you want to be crowned Junior Miss Juneteenth America or Teen Miss Juneteenth America?

A: Because I will be a good Miss Juneteenth leader and I will be so helpfully to other people.

Q: How would you serve as a role model as the crowned Junior Miss Juneteenth America or Teen Miss Juneteenth America?

A: By being a good person and setting a example for others.

Q: What is the key to success?

A: Work hard and try your best in things but never give up.

Q: What is your proudest accomplishment?

A: College?

Q: What charity did you select and why?

A: I have two but I’m thinking on which one I’m doing.

Q: How do you plan to use your scholarship?

A: I will be going to college.
