“On Martin Luther King’s Day, I spent time working with Big Sunday to help the LA community after the impact of the fires. We sorted and assembled clothing and hygiene kits at Big Sunday’s 13th Annual MLK Day Clothing Drive & Community Breakfast! While helping my community, I also shared about Juneteenth with people of all ages. I met and talked to Girl Scout troops as Queen – Teen Miss Juneteenth America and an Ambassador of Girl Scouts of Greater Los Angeles (GSGLA) to share about the importance of Juneteenth and the sash and crown I wear!”
