Get Ready for an Unforgettable Recap of Celebration at the 2024 Miss Juneteenth America Scholarship Pageantry Program!
This year, we were thrilled to showcase an incredible group of 13 dynamic young ladies, including a star from Los Angeles, California, and another from Fayetteville, Georgia, as they competed in the Miss Juneteenth America Scholarship Pageantry Program! These remarkable young women were not just vying for the prestigious titles of Junior Miss Juneteenth America® and Teen Miss Juneteenth America®—they embarked on an unforgettable journey filled with education and inspiration!
Throughout this empowering program, our queens-in-the-making dived into a series of engaging workshops covering everything from financial literacy to public speaking, and even a career sister circle! They rolled up their sleeves to research influential historical figures, explore exciting career paths, and uncover the profound significance of Juneteenth. The energy and passion these young ladies brought was truly inspiring!
Our Three Exciting Events!
The weekend was packed with celebration! The public was invited to join in the festivities with three spectacular events:
- Second Line Parade: Kicked off the excitement on June 14, 2024, at 6:19 PM! With a vibrant atmosphere as we celebrated our culture and heritage in style!
- The Pageant: The grand event took place on June 15, 2024, starting with a glamorous red carpet welcome reception at 4:00 PM, followed by the pageant at 5:00 PM. Attending guests witnessed the incredible talent and grace of our contestants as they shined on stage!
- Scholarship Brunch: The weekend wraped up on June 16, 2024, with a delightful Scholarship Brunch, where we honored the achievements of these remarkable young women.
All events were held at the stunning Battle House Hotel & Spa in beautiful downtown Mobile, Alabama. If you were unable to attend this year’s events, you missed your chance to be part of this amazing experience that celebrated empowerment, culture, and the extraordinary potential of our youth!
