Leatha Joyner Inspires Young Minds with a special visit to The Little Lambs on December 23, 2024. She uplifted and encouraged the children with her presence. Our Teen Miss Juneteenth America 2024, Leatha Joyner, made a special appearance at The Little Lambs, bringing joy, inspiration, and the power of storytelling to the young hearts of our future.
During her visit, Leatha spent quality time with the children as they enjoyed their lunch and engaged in an uplifting reading session. With warmth and enthusiasm, she shared “My R Book” with them, using the opportunity to introduce herself and her role as Teen Miss Juneteenth America. Her presence inspired the children, reminding them that they have the potential to succeed and embrace their heritage with confidence.

After reading, Leatha spoke with the children. In addition, she answered their questions and encouraged them to dream big. She highlighted self-confidence, education, and cultural pride, motivating them to embrace uniqueness and strive for success. Her visit was more than a reading session. Moreover, it reinforced perseverance and self-belief.

“Today, I got to visit ‘The Little Lambs.’ As I spent time with the little lambs, they were served lunch, and I read to them ‘My R Book.’ I had a great time telling these little ones, who are our future and next generation, about who I am as Teen Miss Juneteenth America and reading to them!”
