Reflecting on the experience, Vaughn shared:
“My experience at the Port City Classic parade was very exciting. I was showing the young ladies there that they can be a part of the program and how fun it could be. The crowd was very kind to me and most of them were telling me congratulations even if they didn’t know me. When I gave out toys to little kids, their faces lit up with smiles, and it made me so happy. I would love to experience something like this again.”
Her participation was more than just a title—it was a chance to uplift and encourage the next generation of young ladies.

“My experience at the Port City Classic game was amazing. Many people there asked what the program was, and I was more than happy to explain and answer any questions they had about the program. There were many young ladies in the stands, and when I walked on the field, I felt like I was showing them the amazing opportunities the program offers.”
As Vaughn stepped onto the field, she knew she was doing more than representing herself. She was symbolizing leadership, education, and empowerment for young ladies everywhere.
