The Maynard 4 Foundation expresses its sincerest gratitude to Hancock Whitney, who served as a Platinum level sponsor for the Miss Juneteenth America Scholarship Pageantry Program. This year, the program consisted of 4 days of enrichment, which included workshops on financial literacy, ACT Prep, public speaking and much more. This year also marked the introduction of the inaugural Miss Juneteenth second line, which we hope will be a continued tradition. Additionally, the young ladies participated in an archaeology camp led by Dr. Alexandra Jones, which included a mapping of Africatown’s cemetery. This experience has been #morethanapageant, and we are thankful to Hancock Whitney for helping to make this possible for our young ladies and the community at large.
