Mobile, AL – June 23, 2025 — The Miss Juneteenth America 2025 winners, Savannah Jones of Mobile, AL (Junior Miss) and Victoria Howell of Mobile, AL (Teen Miss), made their first official appearance as national titleholders during a live segment on WKRG News 5 This Morning at 6:00 AM, where they reflected on their pageant journey and what their crowns mean to them.
The Miss Juneteenth America 2025 winners participated in a powerful five-day journey that celebrated Black heritage, leadership, and community impact. Hosted in Mobile, AL, the Fourth Annual Miss Juneteenth America Scholarship Pageantry Program® brought together youth from across the country to engage in immersive workshops, a Sister Circle, a second line parade, and a Scholarship Brunch — all designed to uplift legacy, purpose, and excellence.
“This was a journey of transformation,” shared Teen Miss Juneteenth America 2025, Victoria Howell. “I walked in one way and came out knowing who I truly am — and knowing I have something powerful to give to others.”
Savannah Jones, Junior Miss Juneteenth America 2025, echoed that sentiment. “Learning about our shared history and being able to connect with others like me was life-changing. This experience wasn’t just about a crown. It was about building a future rooted in identity, excellence, and service.”
Both titleholders emphasized the value of cultural education, the strength of sisterhood, and the crown as a symbol of community responsibility.
“Being surrounded by Black women who saw me, uplifted me, and walked beside me — that’s something I’ll never forget,” Victoria added.
As Miss Juneteenth America 2025 winners, both Savannah and Victoria are committed to continuing their service, uplifting youth, and inspiring the next generation. They will serve as national ambassadors through the upcoming year, representing the values of leadership, cultural pride, and educational advancement.
The Miss Juneteenth America Scholarship Pageantry Program® has awarded over $33,000 in scholarships since its founding and continues to serve as a platform for Black youth to rise as leaders, scholars, and cultural ambassadors.
